Program Overview

About the Program

PAG Australia will be a 3-day conference, consisting of 7 Plenary Session talks, and approximately 35 Scientific Workshops presented by world renown authorities in agricultural genomics.

There will also be an Expo of tabletop exhibits from leading companies in the agri-genomics industry, and an onsite gallery of poster abstracts and a session where poster authors can discuss their research.

All functions of the conference will take place on Level 2 of the Westin Perth.

Scientific Workshop Sessions

Scientific session at PAG Australia are typically 1 hour and 45 minutes, with 5 speakers.  We expect to have approximately 30 workshops presented be leading scientists an researchers, 6 plenary sessions of featured speakers of world renown. In addition there will be a selection of industry workshops presented by companies in the agri-genomics industry, featuring case-studies with their products and services. More information will be available in the Full Program which we estimate will be online June 2024. In the interim, you may wish to information from our previous PAG Australia meeting in 2023;  such as the 2023 Workshop List, 2023 Plenary Speakers, and the 2023 Full Program Schedule.

Plenary Sessions

PAG Australia 2024 will feature the best minds in the ag-genomics industry and the latest information and scientific breakthroughs. The list of Plenary Speakers for the upcoming meeting will be announced May 1, 2024.

Poster Abstracts

All Full Conference registered attendees are invited to submit a poster abstract. At the meeting there will be a Poster Area where poster can be viewed and there will be a poster session when  authors are expected to stand near their poster to answer any questions and be available to discuss their research. Additionally, poster abstracts will be included in the Online Program which will remain online as part of our archives.  Please visit our Poster Abstract page for Poster submission details.

Student Workshop Competition

All registered student attendees of PAG Australia are invited to submit a poster abstract for review by the Organizing Committee, which will select up to 8 abstracts for presentation at the PAG Australia 2024 Online conference. Selected students will be invited to each give a 10-minute presentation in an online Student Workshop Program and Competition. The chosen winners will also receive a refund of their PAG Australia 2024 registration fee.

Exhibitors and Industry Participation

PAG Australia will also feature an Expo of tabletop exhibits, with companies offering equipment, services, and publications related to genetic research in the agri-genomics field, where attendees can learn more about each exhibiting companies.
