Call for Proposals
We are no longer accepting workshop proposals for 2023.
Anyone in the global agri-genomics community is invited to submit a workshop proposal for PAG Australia 2023.*
Workshop proposals for PAG Australia should be developed with the intent of appealing to attendees from across Australia, the Asia Pacific region and beyond, with the goal of fostering development of genomic analysis of agricultural products to sustain the world food supply. PAG attendees are involved in all areas of agrigenomics including next generation sequencing, phenomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, data management, and new technologies.

Workshop Topics
You may wish to review the PAG 30 (2023) Workshop List for insight regarding workshops presented at past conferences. All workshops must fit into one of the following Workshop Categories.
We are especially interested in sessions which focus on, but are not limited to; crop, livestock, and aquaculture genomics, on topics such as:
- Rice
- Wheat
- Maize
- Barley
- Soybean
- Arabidopsis
- Brassicas
- Fruit
- Palm Oil
- Cattle
- Poultry
- Shrimp
- Fish
- Swine
- Sheep/Goat
Submission Information
Workshops at PAG Australia are 1 hour and 45 minutes, with 5 speakers. Workshop organizers who submit a proposal are responsible for the selection and coordination of all speakers and individual talks within the workshop. Proposals submitted without speakers will be rejected. (Organizers will be able to change/edit speakers after submission.)
Incentives for workshop organizers include complimentary registration and 3 nights accommodation for one organizer. Each speaker receives a $100 discount on the full conference registration rate. All workshop organizers and speakers will also be acknowledged in the online program.
*All workshop proposal submissions will be reviewed by members of the Organizing Committee and considered based on factors such as relevance, and pre-existing coverage of the subject area proposed. If accepted, a member of the Organizing Committee will the proposal authpr to discuss further.
